  53. 4. PROGRAM FEATURES
  54. *******************

  56. Project-Timer is a tool wich counts the time you need for
  57. an project or any other work ( like online-time ... ). It
  58. remembers the time of the last 28 days and it can display
  59. some statistics of your  work ( like average times ... ).
  60. The program saves the times atomatically in an configurable
  61. interval of 5 minutes. Project-Timer can also print an form
  62. with all collected informations.

  64. The Open-Screen
  65. ---------------
  66. Here you can create new projects or load existing project
  67. times.  When  you  press the  NEW - button, a new project
  68. 'projectname' will be created. You can change the name of
  69. a project by clicking 2 times  on the line or if you have
  70. always selected a project you can simply begin to type in
  71. a new name. After entering a project by doubleclicking or
  72. pressing the open-button you are in the ->

  74. Main Screen
  75. -----------
  76. Here you  can see  the time  of your project in hours and
  77. minutes.  Below  there  are  some  buttons to  switch the
  78. display mode. You can switch between day/week/month/total.
  79. If you  want to  break you can press the PLAY - button in
  80. the middle  of the display. On the right top corner there
  81. is a  pin button,  wich make the display 'ALWAYS ON TOP'.
  82. To open any other project press the open button below the
  83. pin button. With the STAT button you come in the ->

  85. Statistics Screen
  86. -----------------
  87. Project-Timer displays all collected informations on this
  88. form. In  the graphical  diagram you  can change the week
  89. with the ARROW buttons. With the  printer button you come
  90. to the ->

  92. Printer Dialog
  93. --------------
  94. On the top you can see the name of the current printer. To
  95. make some printer adjustments press PRINTER. In the middle
  96. there are  some print  options. Here  you can  select what
  97. to  print and  you can  change the  amount of copies. With
  98. GRAYSCALE  checked, Project-Timer  will print the diagrams
  99. in gray.

  101. Setting-Dialog
  102. --------------
  103. You can reach this dialog from the main-screen by pressing
  104. your  right  mouse-button  and  selecting  SETTINGS  or by
  105. pressing Ctrl-S. There are 3 Tabsheets: Colors, System and
  106. Information.  At the  color-sheet you  can  set 3 different
  107. colors:
  108.  - background
  109.  - normal text
  110.  - highlighted text
  111. At the system-sheet you can set:
  112.  - save interval ==> the time-interval for saving
  113.  - language
  114.  - autostart : if checked Project-Timer starts at systemstart
  115.  - always on top : same as the pin-button
  116. On the information-sheet you can find some informations about
  117. the program, like version and copyright.

  120. 5. SHORTCUTS

  122. There are some shortcuts for the main-window:
  123. ALT-D   : show project-time for today
  124. ALT-W   : show project-time for the current week
  125. ALT-M   : show project-time for the current month
  126. ALT-T   : show total project-time
  127. ALT-S   : open statistics-screen
  128. CTRL-S  : open settings-dialog
  129. CTRL-O  : project-open dialog
  130. CTRL-F4 : minimize to SysTray
